I continually gravitate towards the idea of supposed to, should, ought to and the identities we take on to fulfill the shoulds. The interest for me is contradiction. conventionally unconventional. Ideas of high brow, low brow, questioning the nature of tradition while making odes to it. Abandoned missing people and things finding belonging and finding a new sense of cohesion. Life to me is this continual effort of tuning ones perspective to make sense of the contradictions in ourselves and in the world around us.
